  Ugh... WORSE DINING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD ANYWHERE! This is not the family friendly spot it used to be. They are more of a bar now with gaming machines and no accomodations whatsoever for families with children. Our server was useless.
  Mostly it was the service. I have never not left a tip at a restaurant. But it was so bad we did not leave any tip. SOOOOOOO unacceptable. And unaplogetic. Lets start with us asking for a kids menu. "We dont have a kids menu". Ok. Thats totally ok. Alot of places do not. I say "what do you usually reccommended or offer a 4 year old?". Server looks at me w blank look. "I dont know...tacos?". I ask if there is a side of quesadillas or something. We decide on the quesadilla appetizer for my child. I ask if its chuaua cheese (because my kid loves that). She says yes. Fantastic!! Then we order him an apple juice. "We dont have apple juice. We have orange juice". Ok , cool he will have orange juice. I order a margarita. I ask what my tequilla options are. She tells me they are pre made. Ok. Then she asks if i want regular or the big one. I say regular. Then she asks me if i want killer. "Whats killer?". She says more tequilla. I say yes.(but i thought it was pre made?). I want killer. Regular size. But killer. We all place our food and drink orders. 40 minutes go by!!. We have no drinks. Not even water. Then my husbands beer shows up. I ask about my sons orange juice. "We dont have orange juice". Um.....why did you say you had orange juice and let us order orange juice then??" Ok can we have a small glass of water? We dont have any small glasses...ok...just bring whtever and fill it half way please. Nope. Huge full glass of water for the kid. Meanwhile theres a lady at table next to us sipping a drink from a small rocks glass. Now...my sons quesadilla shows up. Its SPICY PEPPERJACK CHEESE!! Ya think she would have warned us, knowing this was for a little kid?? Nope. I dont say anything becauae at this point its clear we made a big mistake and we are just gonna power thru and never go back. I still dont have my "pre mixed " margarita. None of us have food. And we have been there about an HOUR now! And the place is dead! So finally my husband and other sons food arrive just as my giant super size margarita arrives (i had ordered the reg size) No explanation as to where my food is. It was some people from the kitchen dropping it off in a scurry. Our server is M.I A. Rest of my family starts eating. My 4 year old is so starving he is powering thru his spicy quesadilla while guzzling the massive glass of water . After about 10 more minutes i was finally able to flag down my server to tell her to cancel my food order. She, still w no apologies for anything, looks blankly at me and says "are you sure?". My husband asks for the check and tells her to make sure my food is not on there and points out that i ordered the reg size margarita and not to charge us for the big one etc...In the meantime I taste a few bites of everyones food. The food was good. It was was your typical family owned Mexican restaurant fare. Nothing fancy. But decent. If it were combined with a good server and a family friendly ambiance, it would have been a 4 star rating for me. But the fact that the place was not busy and our server was SO terrible and unapologetic and the fact that we were there for nearly an hour before food and drink arrived and one of us never even got our meal...sorry. One star. And i really wanted to like this place.
